GENERAL INFORMATION
This half term’s KS1 Star Pupil Awards for ‘showing an excellent and enthusiastic attitude towards learning’ have been awarded to Logan Frost, Grace Sargent, Jessica Bernes, Rhys Mann and John Hennessey. Well done!

Well done to all the Y5 children who took part in the Basketball festival at Hillsborough College on Monday. Thank you to Mr Delaney for running the event.Well done to the Y1 children who took part in the Gymnastics festival at Bradfield School. Thank you to Mrs Higgins for running the event.
The Y3/4 children have the Fun Maths Roadshow to look forward to on Tuesday which is being run by Tapton School.
The National E-Safety Day is on Tuesday 7th February. The theme is ‘Discover the digital world together... safely!’ At some point during the week the children will be looking at safe internet use. Please support this initiative at home.
The FS and KS1 Valentine Disco being organised by SOS is on Tuesday. All the children are invited to wear red and goodie bags are being sold for £1 each. Please pick your child up at 4.15pm from their classroom and for Miss Higgins’ and Miss Holt’s classes from the main entrance.
SOS would like to say thank you to Mrs Galloway and Ms Padwagga after receiving a cheque for £880 following their successful £4£ applications which are supported by HSBC.
The Rainbows, Brownies and Guides are allowed to wear their uniform to school on 22nd February to celebrate ‘Thinking Day’.
We have been advised of a meeting being held by Sheffield City Council focusing on ‘Academies – all you need to know’. This is being held at Worrall Memorial Hall on Tuesday 7th February 6.30pm – 8.30pm. If you would like to attend please telephone 2053902 to book a place.
There are lots of activities happening over the half term holiday which are eligible for Children’s University Learning Points and details of these can be found at www.sheffield.gov.uk/cu. Passports are available from all libraries and are free throughout February.
A group of pupils from Bradfield School are holding a coffee morning on Saturday 18th February at 10.30am until 12.00pm at the Wesleyan Reform Chapel as part of their BiG Challenge. They will be selling cards, jewellery and refreshments along with games for children to play.
A reminder that school closes at the end of the day on Thursday and will re-open after half term on Monday 20th February.
After School Club Information
Monday’s Top Trumps Heat will be held in Miss Holts’ classroom. The children will still be brought to the Don entrance at 4.30pm to be collected.
Tuesday Cookery Club will be held during the day on Wednesday due to staff training.
Make it Take it Club will be held at lunchtime on Thursday due to staff training.
