NEWSLETTER FOR 5th JUNE 2006
GENERAL INFORMATION
Tweak of the Week for week commencing Monday 5th June is ´Welcome to Music´.
We have a number of lost property jewellery items in the Coumes office. Please could we remind parents that the only jewellery children should be wearing for school is pierced earrings - one pair only - and a watch.
Just a reminder for parents needing to book time off work - the Celebration of Work afternoon is on Thursday the 13th July (not 12th July as originally announced), the KS1 Sports Day is in the afternoon of Tuesday 18th July, the KS2 Sports Day is in the afternoon of Wednesday 19th July and the Y6 Leavers Assembly is in the morning of Thursday 20th July 2006.
The Sainsbury’s Active Kids voucher scheme ends on Tuesday 30th June and they are issuing double vouchers until then!! Please send any vouchers you collect into school during the first week after the holidays. Thank you.
For parents of children who have instrument lessons with Sheffield Music Services - we have been notified of an increase in lesson charges from £22 per hour to £23.50 and for orchestras and bands an increase from £25 per hour to £26 per hour. These increases are effective from September 2006.
Please can we impress on parents and carers the importance of keeping school up to date with pupil’s personal information. We have had a number of instances lately where addresses, and particularly contact telephone numbers, have changed and we have been unable to get in touch with parents. Thank you.
PLEASE KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
