GENERAL INFORMATION
Tweak of the Week for week commencing Monday 17th July is ´Be calm in any situation´.
You should have all received the individual child photo proofs this week. Could you please ensure that your order is in school by no later than Monday 16th October. If you are interested in ordering the calendar, the actual photos are sized 5" x 3.5" (postcard size)
Congratulations go to the following children who are the new school councillors for 2006/7 – Megan Quince, Jack Piggott, Sophie Baker, Rowan Horrocks, Nathan Norris, Fern Atkinson, Francis Kenyon, Mollie McCurdy, Blythe Hirst, Leonie Taylor, Rosie Winton, Evie Ward-Drummond, Meg Raynor, Molly-Anne Palmer, Charlotte Palmer, Caitlin Poulter, Neve Hobson and Jonathan Crocker.
The school football team tried really hard in their recent matches but unfortunately were unlucky with the following scores, 2 – 3 against Rivelin and 0 – 3 against Marlcliffe. Better luck next time.
Not everyone has returned the Local Outings permission slip. Additional letters are being sent out today. Please ensure that these are completed and returned asap. Thank you.
A reminder for all Y3s that the final payment for Whirlow should be received by not later than Friday 13th October.
Also a reminder for all Y6 parents that £100 should be paid for the PGL trip to Caythorpe Court by Tuesday 17th October.
A reminder that the Parents evenings are on Tuesday 17th and Wednesday 18th October – please send your appointment slips back to school if you have not already done so. Thank you.
A final reminder regarding payments – could you please ensure that all school dinner money is received in school on a Monday morning for the whole week. The school office will contact any parent whose child requests a school dinner which hasn’t been paid for to bring the money into school prior to lunchtime.
Don’t forget the School Autumn Fayre is on Saturday 14th October. Could you please return any raffle ticket money (with stubs) to the school office by Friday 13th October.
Also any donations for the tombola are needed and would be gratefully received. Any donations of cakes can be sent to school on Friday or at the actual fayre.
If you are able to help out during the fayre please contact Catherine in the school office – SOS really need more helpers to ensure that some of the games stalls planned do not have to be cancelled. Thank you

A reminder that there is a school curriculum day on Friday 20th October so the last day at school before half term is Thursday 19th October. Return back to school on Monday 30th.
