Thank you to everyone who has returned their sponsor money from the penalty shootout, a total of £1168.25 has been raised! The winner of the signed football shirt will be announced and presented with the shirt in next Friday’s assembly. Well done!

SOS are holding their AGM on Wednesday 14th November in the Don Building staff room at 7pm - everyone is welcome!

The Tesco Sports for Schools voucher system has now finished so if you do have any vouchers could you please send them into school as soon as possible so we can start counting. Thank you.

Y5/6 are having an ‘Air Raid Shelter Day’ on Wednesday and Mr Doug Sanderson, a local historian, is coming into school to tell them about the war.

Next week is the Whirlow Hall Farm trips – please remember that all children need to bring a packed lunch on the day they are going to Whirlow and also need to know what the arrangements are for lunch on the day that they return - whether a lunch/grab a bag has been ordered etc.

Next Friday is Children in Need Day and all pupils are invited to bring in 20p if they wish to buy a Pudsey biscuit and 20p if they would like to enter the Pudsey make over sheet. Further details have been sent out by the school council. Thank you.

Thank you to everyone who has bought a poppy this week, we will let you know how much money has been raised once the collection boxes have been collected.

Could you please ensure that all children bring a coat to school whatever the weather is like in the morning, especially as it is much colder now.

A group of Y6 pupils are selling ‘Techno Mag’ Issue 3. They have written the magazine themselves and it costs 30p should you wish to buy a copy. All monies go to Oughtibridge School Fund.

The children thoroughly enjoyed Poetry Day and wrote some very imaginative poems.

Lost Key - A key on a black fob has been lost on Church Street. If you have found the key or know anything of its whereabouts please could you contact school and we will notify the owner. Thank you

CLASS NEWS AND INFORMATION:

Mrs Wilson’s class will be taken by Mrs Butterfield on the afternoon of Wednesday 14th November.

Miss Churchard’s class will be taken by Mrs Jackson on the afternoon of Thursday 15th November.

Mrs Wilson’s class will be taken by Mrs Hunt on the afternoon of Thursday 15th November.

After School Club Information

Mrs Raynor’s running clubs - the KS2 lunchtime club will start again on Monday but the KS1 after school club will not start again until next year.

Premier Sports clubs start again next week.
