GENERAL INFORMATION
Tweak of the Week is ´Don’t be shy - give it a try´
Welcome to all the new children and parents who have just started at Oughtibridge Primary School.
Would parents who are collecting children from Mrs Lucas’ and Miss Lowey’s class please stand well back from the door to avoid unnecessary congestion.
A reminder that anybody accessing school should use the footpaths and not the driveway during school hours as deliveries are being made to the school at all times. Please also note that children are not allowed to run up and down the banking, they must use the footpaths. Thank you.
School dinner payment per term – please note, due to an administration error, one week was not included in the cheque request for £56.10. This means that a further £8.25 to cover the rest of the term is required which can be sent in at any time prior to Friday 19th October. Apologies for any inconvenience caused. Could we please also remind you that school dinners are £1.65 per day and any cheques should be made payable to Sheffield City Council.
Please ensure your child is wearing the correct uniform especially for their individual photographs on Thursday.
A reminder that the following meetings are taking place next week:
- Tuesday 11th – Initial meeting for parents Y3/4, 5pm Don Hall
- Wednesday 12th - SOS meeting to discuss the Autumn Fayre – anybody is welcome to attend especially new parents! 7pm Don Building Staff Room
- Thursday 13th – Initial meeting for parents Y1/2, 5pm Coumes Hall
A reminder that swimming lessons start for Y4 children on Thursday 13th September.
If you would like to become a parent/governor the nomination form needs to be completed and given to the office by Friday 14th September.
SOS would like to thank everybody who ordered form the Yellow Moon catalogue – they have just received a cheque for £53.46 for the commission earned from the orders.
Thank you to Simon Vincent who has been attending the school garden over the summer holidays – the next gardening session will be on Saturday 29th September when anybody is welcome to come along and help.
If anybody is able to help wash and distribute the free fruit to the FS and KS1 children in the mornings at 9am please see Mrs Little.
Any pupils who have brass lessons on Tuesdays please bring their instruments on Tuesday 11th September.
Mrs Jackson would like to thank all the children and parents for their lovely gifts and good wishes she received as she left before the holidays.
