Please ensure that the teddies are labelled with the child’s name and class and have the teddies name on it too (if they have one!). Elaine, the school cook, will also be making Pudsey Biscuits and these will be sold around the classrooms at 25p each. Any additional donations of money you would like to make can be sent to the school office. Thank you.

Scholerest, the school meals provider, have organised our very own Ready Steady Cook for the 16th November. A ‘Celebrity Chef’ Darren Tinkler will be running a red and green team. Two of the older children will be on a team with either Miss Wilkinson or Mrs Little. All the children will get to watch the ‘cook off’ and vote for their favourite red tomatoes or green peppers. The focus will be on healthy eating. We are looking forward to this event next week and it should be a very enjoyable learning experience for the children.

We will be running the Operation Christmas Child campaign again this year. If you would like a leaflet to explain the shoe box appeal then please collect one from the office. Collection of the boxes will be on the 1st December.

We are looking for more people to become supply lunchtime supervisors. If you would like to help out on an occasional basis please let the school office know. Thank you.
