Well done!

Thank you to everyone who has returned their slip requesting seats for the Y5/6 Carols and Readings on Monday. Because of the high number of requests there are no more seats available, please do not send in any more requests or bring any more people than you said you would!

Well done to all the FS and KS1 children who performed their ‘Wriggly Nativity’ this week, you have all worked so hard. Thank you to all the parents who came to watch a wonderful show and for all their support.

Thank you also to Mr and Mrs Havenhand for providing the mince pies for the nativity refreshments.

Well done to the Basketball Team who came runners up in the Hot Shots Basketball Festival on Tuesday.

Christmas Lunch will be served to the children on Monday, as this has already been paid for please do not send the money in again. Anybody who hasn’t ordered the Christmas Lunch will have to bring sandwiches as we cannot now provide any more lunches on Monday.

The children’s Christmas Parties are arranged for next week (Y3/4 on Tuesday, Y5/6, FS and KS1 on Wednesday). If you have been asked to provide party food please remember to send this on the appropriate day. FS and KS1 children do not need to pay for/order a school dinner on Wednesday. Thank you.

All KS2 children are going to the Church on Thursday. We are looking forward to this special service.

The Christmas and Chocolate Puddings that have been ordered through SOS have been sent home. There are a few spare puddings and if you would like one please contact Jill on 2863042. They are £5 for both the chocolate and 1lb Christmas puddings.

Steve Adams is running a Fun Football Camp on Thursday 3rd and Friday 4th January between 10am and 3pm. If you haven’t already received the information please contact the school office. All applications to attend must be returned to school by Tuesday 18th December.

Thank you to everyone who bought a poppy for Remembrance Day, we raised a total of £38.52 for the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.

A card addressed to somebody in Switzerland has been mistakenly posted in our school postbox. If this could be yours please come to the Coumes office to collect it.

We have been advised by Sheffield City Council that work on providing a zebra crossing on Church Street will begin early in the New Year and will be situated near to the junction with Langsett Road South.

After School Club Information

All after school clubs are running as normal next week.
