In order to minimise the congestion around the school gates, the landlady of The Cock Inn has very kindly agreed to allow parents to use the car park at the beginning and end of the school day when dropping off and picking up children. Please use this facility and join in this park and stride scheme.

On Tuesday 22nd May there will be a ‘Bouldering’ event for KS2. This will take place on the school field (even if slightly raining). Your child will need their PE kit and trainers. If it is cold your child might like to bring an old set of jogging bottoms and an old tracksuit type top.

SOS are going to be working in the school garden on Saturday from 10.30 am for around an hour, (weather permitting). If you have an hour to spare please come along and help Perri Calderbank and Simon Vincent to make the garden look a little less weedy! Please bring your own gardening equipment. Thank you.

You will have received a Yellow Moon catalogue today which has lots of ideas for craft making and gifts. If you would like to place an order please send them direct to the company or order on their website quoting our source code SOU1039. SOS will receive up to 25% cash back from each order. Thank you.

Steve Adams is running Holiday Football Fun Camps over the Spring Bank at Crosspool. Please contact Steve on 07815 307657. Please note that this information is being passed on to you by the school and parents will be responsible to ensure that any CRB checks have been completed.

The Governors would like to inform you that Hazel Guy and Mark Winton have been re-appointed as Parent Governors for the next four years.

Any return slips for the Half term Art Walks at More Hall Reservoir need to be returned to school by no later than Monday 21st May.

We have been advised of an Open Day at the Mayfield Centre, where our KS1 pupils have visited, on Saturday 19th May from 10am until 4pm. There will be refreshments, cakes, bric-a-brac etc and admission is free.
