SOS would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who came and supported the Autumn Fayre, a total of £1100 was raised! A huge thank you to everyone who helped out at the event which made it such a success.
Well done also to those from the choir who have been raising money to provide a coach for the Arena. They have raised a total of £148.95. Well done!
As you may be aware we are in need of a ‘bank’ of relief Midday Supervisors. Three of our lunchtime supervisors have been ill at the same time which has made covering for them very difficult. Please contact the school office if you feel you have the skills and time to help us out. Many thanks in anticipation.
Could we please remind you that school is open next week and that half term is Monday 29th October. We will re open on Tuesday 6th November due to a staff training day on the Monday.
The children had great fun with the sponsored penalty shoot out with many of the teachers and teaching assistants in goal! Could all sponsor money please be sent to school by Friday 26th October. Thank you.
Thank you to everyone who has donated their change for our ‘Give Poverty the Boot’ harvest appeal. We have had so much change donated that it our counting machine has broken! We will let you know next week how much money has been raised.
May we please remind you that no dogs are allowed on the school premises at any time. Thank you.
Next week’s Lucky Plate day which is being run by Scholorest, is on Wednesday.
We have received all the School Link orders but unfortunately some orders have not got names on them. If you have ordered something but haven’t received it could you please contact the school office with exact details of your order. Thank you.
A reminder that £150 (including deposit) needs to be paid by Thursday 25th October for the Y6 PGL trip. Thank you.
Any orders for the Christmas and Chocolate puddings which SOS are selling need to be in the office by Friday 26th October. Delivery of the puddings will be in mid December. Thank you.
If anybody is able to help with baking on Monday 12th November with Y5/6 FW could you please contact Miss Firth. Thank you.
CLASS NEWS AND INFORMATION:
All Y5/6 classes are going to Eden Camp on Thursday 25th October. They will need to be at school for 8.15 and bring along a packed lunch, a waterproof jacket and a small amount of spending money. They will be back at school approximately 4.30pm.
Mrs Wilson’s class will be taken by Mrs Butterfield on Wednesday 24th October in the afternoon.
After School Club Information
There will be no Premier Sport clubs next week (payment has only be made up to Friday 19th) except Tuesday KS1 Movements and Wednesday KS1 Multisports due to these being cancelled when it was Parents’ evenings.
Further details will be sent out from Premier regarding the clubs after half term.
There is no netball club on Friday 26th October.
