Well done!

Congratulations to Mrs Tricklebank who won the SOS Easter Hamper. The raffle raised £250, so a big thank you to everyone who supported it.

Well done to all the children who took part in the Easter Egg Rolling competitions. Good fun was had by all, the eggs looked brilliant – and the sun shone! The class winners were: Jamie Needham F2KE, Olivia Fothergill F2SW, Sam Guttridge CL, Marcus Turner CS, Bridey Houghton EL, Emma Wall SW, Callum McCormick BW, Phoebe Shepherd JL, Megan Balfour TM, Billy Needham RW and Sam Gordon FW.

A reminder that the Y6 SATs and KS2 tests take places week commencing 12th May. KS1 pupils will be tested during April and May. No leave of absence will be authorised during these times.

Very well done to the Basketball team who very narrowly missed retaining their Hotshots title, finishing runners-up in this year’s City Championship Final. The team played exceptionally well, they were focussed, fit and determined. They didn’t lose a match until the final which was a close run thing, but the Deepcar ‘giants’ had the edge and only just beat ‘Oughtibridge’. The whole competition was so exciting and great fun. For Adele Finley and Georgia Gayle this was their second ‘final’ – what a record! We are all so proud of their achievement. Well done to Georgia Gayle, Millie Kenyon, Amelia Leake, Luke Berrisford, Thomas Frith, Thomas Wood, Adele Finley, Alice Maleham and Joshua Gilbank. Thank you also to Mrs Gayle for coaching and running the team and to Mr Milner for all his support.

We have lots of lost property in both buildings. Please could you check the boxes as anything left at the end of the week we come back will go into the Bags to School collection.

You are being collected from the school gates at 9.15am and returned to the school gates at 11.45am. You need to be in casual clothes and if you have an inhaler – take it with you. Your sessions are on Tuesday 25th, Wed 26th, Thurs 27th and Fri 28th March. Have a good time !
