SOS are organising their Autumn Fayre for Saturday 13th October and would like to invite any parents who sell good quality items to have a stall at the fayre. They would like a donation of 10% of any takings to be given. If you are interested please contact Catherine Askham via the school office as soon as possible. Thank you.

We would like to remind you that the Parents’ Evenings are on Tuesday and Wednesday and that you should have all received your appointment times from the class teacher. Please note, you are welcome to visit your child’s classroom but there will be no work on display as it is so early in the term.

New Governors
Colin Yates, whose daughter is in Y4 has been appointed the new parent governor and Ian Askham, whose son is in Y1, has been appointed as a local Authority Governor, both with immediate effect.

Oughtibridge Gala are organising a fayre tomorrow in Coronation Park starting at 12pm. There will be various stalls, Branching Out will be performing and also Rocket 88, the fire engine will be visiting and there will be hotdogs, burgers, cakes and refreshments for sale. Children are invited to come dressed as their favourite cartoon character for the fancy dress competition and a reminder that all miniature gardens must be taken to the park prior to the fayre opening. Volunteers are also needed on the day. Entrance to the fayre is free although any donations received will be used to replace items lost during the flooding.

Reminder to Foundation parents – The Phonics Workshop will be held in the Coumes Hall at 1.45pm on Wednesday 26th September and Mrs Sharp looks forward to seeing you there.

After School Club Information

No news this week

Please note that due to Parents evenings on Tuesday and Wednesday there will be no Premier Sports after school clubs, KS1 Gymnastics and KS1 Multi Sports, but these sessions will be transferred to Tuesday 23rd and Wednesday 24th October.

The Steve Adams football session WILL still have his Y3/4 Football session on Wednesday 26th.
