Best attendance class last week – Mrs Little’s and Mr Milner’s
Raffle ticket winner last week was – Miles Mann
Well done!

The children all had an exciting day on Wednesday when the whole school participated in our first ‘Its Good to Talk Day’.

Could you please ensure that your children know to return to school if the person they are meeting isn’t there to collect them and not to leave the school grounds without informing a member of staff. Thank you.

Could you please ensure that you are parking considerately around the school as we have had reports of parents persistently blocking drives, particularly on Haggstones Road. Thank you.

As part of the school’s monitoring process I have been looking at some of the children’s home/school reading records and would like to thank the parents for the support they give us in hearing their children read and to thank you for taking the time to fill in the comments box. We do encourage the children to read at home at least 3 times a week as it really does help to develop their reading skills.

The Bags 2 School collection is on Wednesday morning. You may only bring your bags in on Tuesday after school or Wednesday morning and place them in the covered walkway. We do not have any area to store the bags prior to Tuesday so please do not bring them before then. Please ensure that you have checked the lost property boxes as these will be emptied on Monday after school ready for the Bags 2 School collection. Thank you.

A reminder that the Ugly Ducking performance for FS and KS1 will take place on Tuesday. Could any outstanding money please be sent into the office on Monday. Thank you.

The School Choir are singing at the Arena as part of the ‘Young Voices’ concert on Thursday. We are sure they will have a lovely time and sound wonderful. Thank you to Miss Wilkinson for arranging this and to Miss Firth and Mrs S Ward for their help and support.

Children will be able to bring in their Christmas cards from Tuesday 4th December when the post boxes will be available in each building.

Well done to Daniel Woolfall, Calum Biggins, Alex Hanneman and Sam Ward who have raised £4 for Cancer Research and £10 for school funds from the sale of the ‘Techno Mag’.

We have been advised that there will be 2 places available for the flute/clarinet lessons in the new year. Please contact Miss Wilkinson if your child is interested in having lessons.
