GENERAL INFORMATION

Well done!

Thank you to all the parents who were able to join us during a very successful Science week. The children have had a wonderful time and have learnt so much from Mr Dodds about Science and Mr Williams regarding being Birdwise.

A reminder that the Parents’ Evenings are on Tuesday and Wednesday. It is not appropriate for children to be with you whilst you meet the teachers and must be supervised at all times if coming into school.

Due to safety issues we would like to remind you that there are no ball games allowed in the junior yard before school.

A reminder that any dental forms for FS and KS1 must be returned no later than Monday 28th January. Thank you.

Could any orders for Puffin Books please be returned to school no later than Monday 29th January. Thank you.

Steve Adams will be running Football Fun Days during February half term week at Tapton School. Please contact Steve direct on 07815 307657 if you would like any further details.

Miss Firth and Mrs Finley will be taking the Y6 ‘Clever Blogs’ to Stocksbridge Junior School on Monday afternoon please note they will return before the end of the school day.

If you have an hour to spare each day and would be interested in becoming a Midday Supervisor we currently have a full time vacancy in the Don Building and we are also in need of Relief Supervisors in both buildings. If you are interested please contact the Coumes office as soon as possible.

If you have any empty HP ink cartridges, at home or at work, please bring them to the school office so we can recycle them. Thank you.

CLASS NEWS AND INFORMATION:

Miss Firth’s class will be taken by Mrs Dent on the afternoon of Monday 28th January.

Miss Stimpson’s class will be taken by Mrs Jackson on Monday 28th January.

Mrs Lucas’s class will be taken by Mrs Ward on Monday 28th January.

Miss Eversham’s class will be taken by Mrs Jackson on the morning of Wednesday 30th January.

Miss Firth’s class will be taken by Mrs Butterfield on Wednesday 30th January.

Miss Wilkinson’s class will be taken by Mrs Dent on the afternoon of Thursday 31st January.

Miss Wade’s class will be taken by Mrs Butterfield on the afternoon of Thursday 31st January.

After School Club Information

There are no after school clubs on Tuesday and Wednesday due to the Parents’ Evenings, this includes Y6 Springboard.
