NEWSLETTER FOR 26TH FEBRUARY 2007

GENERAL INFORMATION

Tweak of the Week is ´Value your achievements´

Please note than from Monday the gates leading to school, from Alford Avenue/Footgate Close will only be open between 7.30 – 9.30am and 3.00 – 5.30pm. If there are any events happening after school the gates will be locked at the end of the evening

All parents should have received a letter inviting them to the open evenings on 13th and 14th March.

A thank you goes to Mrs Calderbank and Mrs Bush for all their hard work in the school garden. If anybody else has some time to spare any help would be much appreciated. Thank youHP printer cartridges. Also there will be another Bags to School collection in May, details of this will be sent out nearer the time. Thank you

I hope you have all noticed the improved signage around school. They were put up on a very snowy Friday just before half term. The Don dining area has been re-decorated with the new flooring due to be done at Easter.

If you want to come along to the Ladies Night on Thursday 1st March there are only 10 tickets left! Please send in your money for tickets asap so not to be disappointed. Tickets are £5 each which include a 10-15 minutes treatment, a glass of wine and a goodie bag. Raffle tickets will be on sale on the night with various stalls to look at too. Come along for a relaxing evening and a drink and a chat with your friends.

SOS would like to thank everybody who ordered from the Phoenix Trading catalogue which has raised £30 and also for the generous donations for the Easter Hamper where the £50 donated will be used to buy items from Marks and Spencer. The raffle tickets will be sent to you shortly. Also a cheque has been received for £12.09 for the mobile phones which were donated. Please keep sending your old mobile phones in so we can raise more money.

A big thank you to all the parents who helped on the KS1 visit to Mayfield. A good time was had by all.

If anybody is interested in the family portrait session on Thursday 5th April could you please let us know as soon as possible as we will be sending out further details of this shortly.

We have received details of a change of footpath in the wooded area to the rear of the Doctors surgery. The plans from the Sheffield City Council are in the parents information drawer in the cabinet outside the Coumes office if you would like to look at them.
