NEWSLETTER FOR WEEK BEGINNING MONDAY 27TH MARCH 2006

GENERAL INFORMATION

Tweak of the Week is ´KEEP GOING EVEN IF THINGS ARE HARD´.

A reminder that the BARNEY BALONEY CHILDREN’S ENTERTAINER SHOW is on next Tuesday 28th March commencing at 3.45pm and ending at 4.45pm in the Coumes Hall. Refreshments are available to buy before the performance. The Easter Hamper raffle will be drawn at the end of the show - don’t forget to return your ticket stubs! There are a few tickets left at £2 per child - please note, children must be accompanied by an adult.

Easter Card Competition

THANK YOU to all the children who entered the Easter Card competition. We have had over 100 entrants! Mrs Millard, our Chair of Governors, will be selecting the winners next week and they will be announced in our Final Assembly on Thursday 30th March. Parents are very welcome to view all the Cards in the Coumes Hall after school on Monday 27th March - at any time up to 4 o’clock.

School Uniform

Don’t forget you can now order your school uniform at any time. Collect an order form from the filing cabinet in the Coumes (infant) building reception, fill it in following all the instructions and return it to school in time for a Friday morning collection. Your order should be received back in school within two weeks.

If you haven’t already done so, please send in your reply slip about the new PILATES session starting at school in the Don Hall on Tuesday evenings, from 3.45-4.35pm starting TUESDAY 18TH APRIL for six weeks. Cost will be no more than £3.00 each per session and this could be less, depending on how many people attend. Why not come along and give it a try?

FRIDAY 31ST MARCH IS A CURRICULUM DAY AND SCHOOL IS CLOSED

CLASS NEWS AND INFORMATION:

Y6 SATS - Please note our Y6 pupils will be doing practice Sats on Monday to Wednesday next week.

After School Clubs

The Skipping Club is CANCELLED on Tuesday 28th March.

The Art Club is also CANCELLED on Wednesday 29th March.

Please note, both clubs will resume first week after Easter but the ART CLUB will revert back to MONDAY evenings.

The Line Dancing Club is CANCELLED on Thursday 30th March

NETBALL: After the tournament on Saturday this week, there will be no more after-school netball practices.
