COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE
If any parent has a concern with, or complaint about, the provision of the Curriculum including religious education, collective worship or the implementation of the National Curriculum, then the parent may use the Complaints Procedure.
Many complaints can be best resolved with the Headteacher or other staff of the school and those with complaints will normally be able to resolve them in this way.
If informal discussions fail to resolve the issue, the parent can make a formal complaint, firstly to the Governing Body of the school and, finally, to the Secretary of State for Education.
The arrangements do not apply to such matters as discipline, admissions or complaints about the actions of individual teachers. Full details of the Complaints Procedure can be obtained from the school or from Schools Branch at the Education Department.
