Castleton Residential

In Year 4 we take the children to Castelton on a residential visit. We stay for two days and one night. On the visit we look at the rocks and fossils in the area and think about how this affects the vegetation.

We also go to the Castle and find out about the history of the area, as well as taking in the beautiful scenery! We investigate a local cave and see an earthquake as well as exploring a cavern and finding real Blue John. In the evening we go on a night walk in the dark, before heading back home for hot chocolate before bed!
